
Crista Liggett
Director of Operations
Crista D. Liggett is a 1995 graduate of Ball State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Journalism. She began her professional journey in education, teaching at several high schools in the Indianapolis area. With a strong foundation in both education and aesthetics, Crista made a pivotal career change over 25 years ago to pursue her passion in the aesthetics industry.
Since 2009, Crista has been a vital part of Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery, where she currently serves as Director of Operations. In this role, she oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including medical aesthetics, surgical and patient coordination, and facility and staff management. Working closely with Dr. Chegar, Crista is often a key point of contact during consultations, helping guide patients through every step of their procedure.
Crista’s expertise spans training, consulting, marketing, aesthetics, and human resources, making her an integral leader within the practice.

Terri Knoll
RN/Nursing Director
Terri Knoll RN, graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing with a BS in 1996. Terri started her 27-year nursing career in Pediatrics at Riley Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. She has been an aesthetic injector for 20 years. Terri has served as Dr. Chegar’s surgical scrub and is head of the nursing department.
An employee of Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery since 2009, Terri heads up the Aesthetic injection team. Terri has also extensive experience as a nurse injector trainer. In 2011, Galderma asked Terri to join their GAIN program to be trainer and travels to practices throughout the country to help train doctors and nurses with aesthetic injection products, techniques and safety protocols. Terri is also the practice safety and compliance officer.

Marcie Rode
Laser Technician and Medical Aesthetic Assistant
Marcie Rode, a 1998 Indiana University graduate, is our laser technician. Marcie specializes in the latest laser technology to bring patients the best option for his or her individual skin care concerns. This includes treating pigmentation, Rosacea, bruising, and facial rejuvenation. Marcie has been involved in gymnastics most of her life. She was an Indiana University cheerleader and has been a gym owner, and an all-star cheer coach for more than two decades.

Misty LePere
Certified Professional Biller/Insurance Specialist
Misty handles all aspects of insurance billing, coverage, and authorizations. She has also served as Dr. Chegar’s Medical Assistant. Misty is currently working remotely assisting with billing and financial questions. Kathleen Hook
Medical Aesthetician
Kathleen Hook has a BS from Indiana University and has been a licensed aesthetician for over 10 years. Kathleen’s strong knowledge of the latest technology and products helps to guide patients for a specialized treatment plan. Kathleen specializes in clinical facials, dermaplaning and micro needing. Passionate about health and wellness, Kathleen enjoys working out daily and spending time with her four adult children.

Chasity Wolf
Injector RN
Chasity Wolf is a graduate of Ball State University (2004) with a BS in Nursing. Chasity has an extensive background in nursing that includes Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology and Facial Plastics. Chasity, the mother of three children, is a vivid outdoorsman with interests in boating, gardening, kayaking and hiking.

Dawn Fox
Medical Assistant
Dawn has 20 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in the healthcare industry . Her passion for learning has giving her the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including traditional and Intergrative healthcare, hair restoration therapy and plastic surgery.

Amanda Pearce
Front Office Coordinator
Amanda Pearce is an integral part of our team. As front office coordinator, Amanda oversees all front desk activities including reception, administrative support, customer service and desk staff. She also assists with patient coordination and building mangement. She obtained her degree as a medical billing specialist in 2013 and is a certified member of the American Academy of Professional Coders. Amanda has 11 years of experience as a medical billing specialist and in healthcare practice management.

Casey Crawford
Casey brings over 20 years of experience in medical aesthetics, with a career rooted in collaboration with leading dermatology and plastic surgery practices. Her extensive background has given her a deep understanding of both cosmetic and medical skincare, allowing her to provide personalized, results-driven care. Known for her commitment to excellence and compassionate approach, Casey has built a loyal clientele who trust her expertise and dedication.
Driven by a passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin, Casey strives to empower clients with the freedom to go makeup-free and feel their best every day.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Mitch, and their two daughters, Paige and Audrey.

Chris Meyer
Chris is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and brings over a decade of experience as a counselor and Center Director with Job Corps. Known for her friendly demeanor and dependable nature, Chris is a trusted resource for new patients and ensures everyone feels welcome from the moment they walk through the door.
Her background in counseling and leadership has shaped her compassionate approach to patient care, making her an integral part of the team.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She’s also an avid pickleball player and loves to stay active.

Franci Gesell
Physician Assistant
Franci Gesell, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over a decade of experience in emergency medicine. A 2011 graduate of Butler University, Franci has built her career on a genuine passion for connecting with people and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Her dedication to service took her across the globe early in her career, where she spent two months volunteering in a remote hospital in Africa—an experience that shaped her perspective and deepened her commitment to compassionate care. Back in Indianapolis, Franci spent years in the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine, honing her skills in patient care, crisis management, and collaboration.
In 2023, Franci joined Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery, where she now works closely with Dr. Chegar, training in the artistry and precision of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. This role represents a natural evolution of her career—blending her procedural expertise with her love for aesthetics and patient relationships. Franci is passionate about helping patients feel confident, empowered, and the best version of themselves.

Grace Bell
With experience in the aesthetic and wellness industry, Grace brings a thoughtful, skilled approach to every service she provides. She specializes in clinical facials, microneedling, brow lamination, and Laser Genesis treatments, helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin with personalized care.
Grace’s curiosity and passion for skincare keep her continually exploring the latest ingredients, technologies, and techniques. Whether she’s performing a treatment, assisting with consultations, or lending a hand at the front desk, Grace’s warmth and professionalism make her a valued part of the team.
Outside of work, Grace is a proud mom to a spirited 5-year-old boy. She loves spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, camping, and discovering new state parks—always in search of the next adventure.

Lael Sweeney
Lael brings a wealth of experience and a warm, personable touch to the team at Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery. A 1993 graduate of the University of Missouri with a B.S. in English, she began her career as a magazine editor in Kansas City. Over the years, Lael has lived in several states and embraced a variety of professional roles—many of them centered around customer care and connection.
Before joining the CFPS team, Lael was a long-time patient and enthusiastic supporter, making her transition into the practice a natural fit. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming environment and helping patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Lael has two grown children, and she lives in Fishers with her husband and their beloved dog.
